Ingredients
11oz- 300 g fresh strawberrieshulled and halved (weighted after being hulled)
1tbsphoneyor pure maple syrup
1tsppure vanilla extract
1cupunsweetened almond milkI love Almond Breeze refrigerated almond milk - you can also use dairy milk or another non dairy milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 360F - 180C.
In a bowl, add strawberries, honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract. Toss to combine. Arrange strawberries + juice on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
Transfer strawberries in your blender (I have this one and I love it!). Don't forget the juices! Add almond milk and blend until very smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding a little bit of honey or maple syrup (It's sweet enough to my taste as is).
Transfer into two glasses and refrigerate until completely chilled.
