Chocolate Granola
This easy 5-ingredients only chocolate granola recipe is a chocolate lover's breakfast dream! It only takes 10 minutes of prep time and will definitely sweeten up your breakfast routine! Eat it straight, with milk or yogurt, or use it as a base to make chocolate granola bars!
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ toasted almonds chopped
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350F/175C
-
In a large bowl, combine oats, condensed milk, cacao, vanilla extract and toasted almonds. Mix, using a spatula until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
-
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat and pour oats mixture on it. If you love clusters, make sure to press the granola firmly onto the baking sheet (it will be a bit sticky!).
-
Bake for 25 minutes. Halfway through baking (after 12-13 minutes), take the sheet out of the oven and gently flip your granola (this will allow an even baking and your granola will be crunchy on all sides). Put it back in the oven.
-
After 25 minutes, remove the granola from the oven, let it cool and transfer it to an air-thigh container.
Recipe Notes
Want more than 3 cups? Double up the ingredients but don't overcrowd the baking sheet. Bake your granola in two batches or use two baking sheets.

I will be trying this asap. My almost three year old is obsessed with oats and asks for them everyday. This can be a nice little chocolate surprise for him (and for me too!). Thank you for the recipe.

This sounds wonderful, except for the sweetened condensed milk, which disturbs me, because it has sooooo much sugar and therefore lots of calories. I may try to play around with this because I love chocolate, and love homemade granola. The idea I have is to use evaporated skim milk with perhaps some stevia or a mix of stevia & evaporated cane juice to add sweetness. I try to watch my calories, and I usually use granola only as a topping for aรงai bowls, one of my favorite breakfasts. Thank you for this great idea.

I could live off granola for days! I just eat it straight - like candy! I really want to try your version with sweetened condensed milk!
