Chocolate Hazelnut Granola {Refined Sugar Free + Gluten Free}
Whether it’s sprinkled over yogurt or gobbled up directly in your mouth (both situations being perfectly acceptable), this granola is the perfect snack when you need a chocolate fix. Or when, just like me, you’re a sucker for healthy, make ahead and portable snacks.
I mean, you never know when the hunger will strike and trust me, you don’t want to be around me when it does. I heard they even made up a special word just for me. “Hangry”, I think they said it was? Haha yes, sounds about right. Alright, ok, I know the Internet didn’t come up with this word just for me, but hey, they definitely could have. ???? Anyways!
All I’m saying is that I love, no scratch that, I need to have healthy snacks around that I can grab and eat to remain the nice and sweet person that I am ????????. I mean, a banana could do the trick but hey, this granola is definitely a much sexier option!
I think the reason I looove the cacao/hazelnut combo is because it reminds me of Ferrero Rochers. You know, these sweets with a kind of Nutella core rolled in hazelnut that are so good but so not good for you? Yes, these! Well this granola is much better for you because it’s pretty low in sugars (lower than most store bought ones!) and these sugars are not refined. And if that’s important for you, they’re gluten free too!
Make a batch today and enjoy your yummy granola throughout the week – no more jumping on the first treat you come across and no more hangriness for you! ????
